L‘immagine della Trinità nell‘essere finito. Una riflessione sulla filosofia cristiana di Edith Stein

Abstract

Obiettivo di questo lavoro è mettere in luce l’analogia tra il concetto di immagine di Edith Stein con quello agostiniano. Come in Agostino, infatti, anche nell’opera della fenomenologa l’essere finito è portatore dell’orma divina. In particolare, nella struttura tripartita dell’essere umano, si rispecchia la struttura dell’Essere trinitario. Per questa ragione, benché finito, l’essere umano è portatore dello spirito e, allo stesso tempo, portatore del telos della creazione di quell’Essere eterno di cui è immagine.

Abstract

The aim of this work is to highlight the similarity between the concept of imagination in Edith Stein with that found in Augustine. Just as with Augustine, in fact, in the work of the phenomenologist “finite being” implies a divine trace. Particularly, the tripartite structure of the human being reflects the structure of Trinitarian Being. For this reason, although finite, the human being is the bearer of the spirit and, at the same time, the bearer of the finality of creation of that eternal Being in whose image he has been made.
