Description

The Shrine of the Vittoriale degli Italiani, a monumental citadel constructed by Gabriele d’Annunzio in Gardone Riviera (on the Brescia shores of Lake Garda), is described with the words of Giordano Bruno Guerri and illustrated through the photographs of Marco Beck Peccoz. It is an “emotional” and almost magical path that, as the Poet wrote in the Deed of Gift donating the Vittoriale, “…shows the mark of my style in the sense that I wish to give to style”.
