Lo studio, dopo aver messo a confronto i Praenotanda dell’Evangeliario ambrosiano (11 giugno 2011) con quelli dell’Evangeliario romano (29 giugno 2000), mostra la continuità del libro liturgico, donato alla Chiesa milanese dal suo arcivescovo emerito card. Tettamanzi, sia a livello della struttura che dei contenuti, rispetto alle testimonianze offerte dalle fonti. Dalla contestuale considerazione degli aspetti innovativi emerge, inoltre, come le scelte siano state guidate dall’attenta rilettura della tradizione liturgica ambrosiana e, in particolare, della sua singolare modalità di scandire i tempi dell’anno e di ordinare la proclamazione dei testi scritturistici.

This essay, after having compared the Praenotanda of the Ambrosian Evangeliary (11th June 2011) wit those of Roman Evangeliary (29th June 2000), aims to show the continuity of the liturgical book, that the emeritus card. Tettamanzi has given to the Milanese Church. Both structure and its contents are compared with witness that are offered by its historical sources. Taking into consideration in this context the innovatory aspects, it appears also that the choices have been guided by an attentive re-reading of the Ambrosian liturgical tradition, and particularly of its singular way of articulating the year’s times and putting in order the proclamation of Scripture texts.
