Description
SUMMARY: “Meeting” between Catholics and New Charismatic Churches
The present reflection describes and comments an atypical initiative of ecumenical dialogue between Catholics and Non-Denominational (members of New Charismatic churches). “Meeting” primarily refers to an initiative that is the specific object of the presentation but refers to a more full perspective that opens the reflection to other possible scenarios. The article is structured in two parts: the first offers a description of the initiative Gatherings in the Holy Spirit (origins, ends, characteristics, development). The second part presents a transversely personal theological reading of what emerges as fruits of the initiative and possible theological scenarios (intersections) that may be applied to the wider Non-denom context and read in parallel with some foundational themes of the ecumenical dialogue.
